This cookbook installs and configures Grafana, a dashboard application for graphite and influxdb.
- Debian/Ubuntu
- Redhat/CentOS
- Chef 12.1+
- apt
- yum
The default recipe will install the latest stable Grafana from the official packagecloud repository, configure grafana.ini, and start the service.
To install the latest unstable release, set:
node['chef-grafana']['install']['channel'] = 'testing'
To install a specific Grafana version, set:
node['chef-grafana']['install']['version'] = '4.5.0'
Other recipes:
- grafana::install - this installs grafana and starts the service, but doesn't perform any configuration of grafana.ini.
- grafana::configure - this configures grafana.ini.
All grafana.ini configuration is provided through attributes. Set
node['chef-grafana']['config']['section']['config']
to set the appropriate
values. For example, if you want to enable anonymous authentication, you can
set node['chef-grafana']['config']['auth.anonymous']['enabled']
to true.
