Steps to reproduce

  1. Click the floating # to go to room directory
  2. Type in a room address like #matrix:matrix.org
  3. Click on the room to join... (nothing happens).

To join the room

This appears to be an unhandled case when searching for rooms on other networks

ON MATRIX.ORG ON OTHER NETWORK
room-search search-room-network

Marking as minor as the workaround is to change the search network to match homeserver of the room (admittedly not ideal)
