Notifications Which All New Students Need to Know

To join the github organization, please ping your prettiest senior sister @Doris-Ye.
- By default, your membership is private. You can change the setting. If you make it public, others will see the ustc ivclab logo on your profile page.
To add or update your profile in the official website, please open a pull request, then ping your patientest senior sister @Doris-Ye.
To create or join a team on the github, please ping your most hard-working senior sister @Doris-Ye.
To host or join a project on the github organization, please ping your smartest senior sister @Doris-Ye.
- If you host a project on the github organization, remember to add maintainers: @your_name or maintainers: @ustc-ivclab/your_team_name to the profile of your project.
- Add a protect rule for the main branch of the project.
- Please develop in the develop branch and merge to the main branch after test passing.

You can open a discussion under any project to ask any question about this project.
You can open an issue under any project to report a bug or post a feature request.
You can open a pull request under any project to fix a bug or introduce a new feature. Please respect the following order:
1. Discuss the idea first in github issue. We don't want people to waste their time.
2. Create some work in a personal develop branch. Make sure to keep unit tests and CI pass if they exist.
3. When you're ready for constructive criticism, create a pull request. New code requires the approval of one of the maintainers. Reviewers will check that basic code standards are met.
4. Reviewers will merge the code into the main branch.
5. The next release will credit you for your hard work.
