##What is Shoestring?
Shoestring is a front-end pattern library complementing the UCSF Identity Guidelines.
##Why should I use Shoestring?
Shoestring is a UCSF specific framework, so it provides a common pattern library for UCSF. Twitter bootstrap and other frameworks will require you to modify the framework to meet UCSF standards. Also since this is UCSF focused we can be more agile and provide what is important to UCSF, and you can easily become part of the team and contribute.
##How do I use it?
Download (link here) and add the library to your site.
Please join our project. We've got a nice page on how to contribute...
