Can you add a License file to the repository with the proper content ? I'm intending to use it but lawyers will not allow it without the license file.

Sure - I think perhaps I should use whatever license that jQuery uses since my code extends theirs... lets see if I can find what they are using...

OK I think I figured it out. I put in the MIT license which is what jQuery uses.
