What is the difference between filters.txt and filters.min.txt? I discovered the min versions in https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/blob/master/assets/assets.json. They are new to me. I have never seen them before. Btw, I can't find them on https://github.com/uBlockOrigin/uAssets/tree/master/filters. |

They are "compressed" by removing some comments, and multi-part lists are joined into one. |

The purpose is to reduce bandwidth. Text files are very small, but uBlock Origin has millions of users. Everyone's filter updates add up to crazy bandwidth numbers. We could get blocked by the servers offering to host these lists for free. |
