Bug: Automatic Updates Choice Not Adhered To

Description:
The new 2.8.0 version is fundamentally broken for me, which is what brought up this issue. I turned off automatic updates to stay on the previous, known, good, working version, 2.7.3. However, with automatic update turned off, it still downloads and installs the latest version of 2.8.0 upon exit and relaunch of Electorrent.
