UI slowness at many files (10k)

Steps to reproduce

• Connect with any provider
• Open any folder containing a large number of files (10k+)
• Wait for all the files to get loaded
• Once all the files and folders are loaded, type a single character into the search field
• Now erase that character from the search field

Expected behavior

it should not freeze

Actual behavior

Observe that the whole UI freezes for about 3 seconds before
