* the tested parameter (log fold change / fold change) table is always (genes, type pairs) in varm * tested parameters are set to nan if multi coefficient tests are used to indicate that no trivial summary of multiple coefficients to a fold change is possible. if condition test with a single condition is used, this single coefficient is reported.
