This wiki aims to document processes and workflows related to docs-seed tasks.

Logging tasks

Tasks are logged as bugs or features in the repo's Issues sections by following the specific templates.

According to the specific task - labels should be also added.

Tasks are added to the Docs-Seed project during the release planning. See Docs-Seed project section

Labels

The description of all labels is available here: https://github.com/telerik/docs-seed/labels.

Defining severity of a task

The severity is define by the labels sev: low, sev: medium and sev: high. According to their description.

Estimating a task

Estimation can be set only by the repo's owners. And they are defined by the labels est: low, est: medium and est: high.

If there is a logged task and there is no estimation shortly after being logged make sure to directly message an owner.

Special tags

  • high priority - this tag sets the highest priority and aims to show importance over other tasks. This tag can be added by the management team or on behalf of the management team.

Docs-Seed project

The Docs-Seed project aims to show visibility over currently planned tasks and their progress.

  • Parking lot - Tasks considered for the next release cycle.
  • {Release Cycle} (e.g., R2 2021) - tasks that are added to the current release cycle.
  • In Progress - tasks in progress for the current release.
  • Done - tasks done for the current release.
