Is there an option to suppress the removal of SVG rect elements with zero or omitted width/height when CSS is used for styling? I have a use case in which the dimensions are defined using CSS selectors and the width/height attributes are omitted. Removal of the rect elements is not desirable in this setting.

There is no option for now, but I agree it is a bit premature to remove the
rectangle. I can work in this in March as I'm on vacation, but in the
meantime perhaps use an empty path tag? Or a rect with width of 1e-6 px?
