Gesturefy is a Firefox addon, which allows you to perform a bunch of actions through custom mouse gestures while holding the right mouse button.
Please note: Since Gesturefy is completely built upon the webxtensions API to offer a compatible addon for Firefox version 57, it is likewise limited to it. This means:
- The addon is not working on Linux or MacOS due to a different right click/context menu behaviour (see this bug)
- Gestures won't work on https://addons.mozilla.org (for further information see this bug), pure svg pages and internal pages like about:newtab, about:addons or other addon option pages.
- The page must be partially loaded to perform gestures.
Current features:
- actions: page forward, page back, remove tab, restore tab, duplicate tab, new tab, new tab right, new tab left, next tab, previous tab, scroll to the top, scroll to the bottom, zoom in, zoom out, zoom reset, reload, reload all, maximize, minimize, new window, new private window, tab to window, close window, toggle bookmark, toggle pinned tab, toggle mute, toggle full screen, go up one level in the url hierarchy, search selected text (currently only google), image to new tab, link to new tab
- several styling options
- multi language support, currently english and german
