I have downloaded, uninstalled and reinstalled OneMore three times, but when I try to install it I get error messages such as this: Error found in Custom UI XML of "OneMoreAddin":

I have up-to-date Windows 10 Home on a Dell G5 Gaming Desktop with a 2TB Samsung 970 Evo SSD.

Is there something anyone can suggest that might help me out?

Did you have an older version of OneMore installed prior to this? If so, then delete this file and try the install again.

Closed as completed? Not as far as I am concerned. Yes, I was slow to respond, but...

I will plow ahead and see what happens. Problem solved. Managed to uninstall and then reinstall your program. Just FYI in case it helps you somehow, here's a summary: I had installed 4.17 a while ago that worked fine, Last week I tried to install 5.0.0 which did not. A few days later I noticed 5.1.0 was available, so I tried to install it and got the results that I show above. Just now I did as you suggested and deleted Setting.xml. Then I tried 5.1.0 again. I selected the Repair option again and it bombed as before. So, I ran it again and selected Remove. Then, I installed it and it works fine now.

An update should install without me having to first manually uninstall the old one, In fact, your installation instructions explicitly state this is not necessary. I know it is common for upgrades to uninstall the old version as part of its upgrade process, but I guess I did not think to do it on my own. I'm pretty dumb, I know. Got me a B.S. degree that I use every day (Batchelor of Stupid). Also, an M.S. (More of the Same). And I am working on my PhD (Piled higher and Deeper). Ouch, sorry. Anyway, thanks for your attention to my problem.

@John-Deaux I've found the installer to be pretty good as well as updates (other than the 5.0 which is fixed in 5.1), so hopefully just a blip for you.

Sounds like we went to the same school and have all the same degrees.
