  • Drop rappdirs in favour of tools: closes Replace rappdirs with tools::R_user_dir #42
  • Add dbplyr as a dependency instead of an import. This will mean its S3 methods are automatically registered which we should have always done actually, and will make the UX a bit more robust.
  • Add get_metadata_local(), which downloads an SQLite version of the database
  • Drop the unnecessary dependency on Seurat
  • Update repo URLs
