Changelog:

• macOS binary is now a universal binary compiled for both Intel and ARM64 (Apple Silicon).
• The minimum macOS version is now set to 10.4.
• Windows binaries are just copied from the v1.0.0 release.

Instructions:

• macOS: VLC-protocol.app.zip. Unzip and move to /Applications/.
  Attempt to run the app and you will get a warning that the "developer cannot be verified". This happens because I have not paid money to Apple to get the application signed and notarized (I will not pay their extortion fee).
  Expand the section below to read instructions on how to get past this warning.

  Additional macOS instructions

  The first time you try to run VLC-protocol.app, you will get the following warning:

  

  Click Cancel. Then open the System Preferences app and navigate to Security & Privacy.

  

  Click Open Anyway.

  

  Click Open. It should now be possible to open the application without this warning going forward.
  If you still have issues, please discuss in #12.

• Windows on ARM: vlc-protocol-arm64.exe. Rename to vlc-protocol.exe.
