This pull request makes it so that the
entries_count
variable available in templates or via the REST API only takes published entries into consideration.A fix for this issue was previously attempted in #7489, where it changed the logic in the main
entriesCount
method, however, there are situations where we want to include draft entries in that count, like in the CP.Fixes #3539.
