You'd told me in DMs that the app wouldn't restart on non-dev builds, is this still the case?

I had issues building for Windows, but here's the result on Linux:

• deb: the app clears the data directory and restarts successfully
• snap: the app clears the data directory and restarts successfully
• appimage: the app clears the data directory, but doesn't restart (just closes). This is because the process is not re-spawned after it is closed. See electron.app.relaunch doesn't work inside AppImage electron-userland/electron-builder#1727
