Become a sponsor to Tanner Bennett
Welcome newcomer! My name is Tanner, and I'm Baylor grad, currently working at L3Harris. My passions are iOS development and jailbreak tweak development. I moderate /r/iOSProgramming on Reddit.
I'm more or less the sole maintainer of FLEX, an on-device iOS debugging tool used by thousands of iOS developers and jailbreak tweak developers alike. Lately, most of my free time is spent improving FLEX for all of us. If you sponsor me, I can consciously devote more of my time to working on it.
Other interesting projects of mine include:
- Charm, an upcoming Swift Forums client for iOS.
- DiscourseKit, a Swift Discourse API client. Used by Charm to interact with the Swift Forums.
- Swizzle, a graphical iOS utility for "swizzling" or "hooking" nearly any Objective-C method at runtime. I initially developed this to sell it on Cydia, the "app store" for jailbroken devices, but I became occupied with other things and it was never finished. It works for simple methods, currently, but it's not as powerful as I'd like it to be.
- If you ever used Yik Yak, my personal Yik Yak client might have interested you.
What Sponsorship Does
Aside from what the tiers get you, sponsoring me enables me to justify spending time on various open-source projects outside of the scope of my day job. Sometimes it's hard to make myself want to work on things like FLEX or Charm on a regular basis, even though I want to. Sponsorship motivates me to try harder.
