The smartmicro sensors every now and than require firmware updates. As of now the firmware download is available using the internal smartmicro DriveRecorder tool. This issue is created to initiate a new feature for the smartmicro ros2 driver. The driver should be able to perform a firmware download on the connected sensor. A PR would follow which will tracks this development.
