To make the print stick to the print bed, I press the bottom layer firmly at the bed. This results in very broad extrusions for the first (sometimes even first two) layer(s). Currently, the result of this is that the object will have ridge on the bottom.
If Slic3r would set its "extruded material width" higher for the bottom layer(s), it would place the perimiters more to the inside, and the ridge would be gone. So what I would like to see is two settings:
extruded material width for first N layers
value of N
If you think this is too complex, just hard-code N to 1. The default width should probably be about double the (computed or configured) width of other layers.
