I'm just using this issue to enumerate a few test cases we'll want to cover with bundles:

  • A conforming client must reject a bundle that contains a root CA
  • A conforming client must never produce a bundle that contains a root CA
  • A conforming client must reject a bundle whose leaf + intermediate chain is missing SKI and AKI identifiers for chain building
