Show ui programmatically

I'm using shaka player on a TV system , but when I trigged seeks (fast forwards and rewinds) programmatically, we do not have the focus on the elements so the seek bar is not displayed. Is there a way to force a focus on the seek bar ? (element.focus() does not work...)

I found a solution but I see that a PR has been done in blazing speed. In the case someone wants the functionality and is not able to update, I toke the same PR approach that's about delivering a fake mousemove event to the video container:

 var elements = document.getElementsByClassName("video-container");
        if (elements.length > 0) {
          var event = new Event("mousemove"); // (*)
          elements[0].dispatchEvent(event);
        }
