As pointed out in #3776 (comment), it would be useful to be able to back-test a slightly older version of Safari in GitHub Actions. We should look into that and see if it is possible.

The current release is Safari 15, but Safari 14 is still almost as popular. Today's caniuse.com usage data shows:

In the GitHub Actions environment, it is now possible to install and
run tests on Safari 14.  Though not completely straightforward, it
doesn't add much code to the workflow and shouldn't be too difficult
to maintain.

run tests on Safari 14.  Though not completely straightforward, it
doesn't add much code to the workflow and shouldn't be too difficult
to maintain.
