A major question to answer is whether we can actually access genotype data effectively in C++. Here I'm trying to get tensorstore to work. It seems like good software, but the documentation is non existent and I'm a very poor C++ programmer. The only resource for the C++ API is a github issue.
I think it's getting there, and it certainly looks like it should be performant.
