Most of my daily work in LibreOffice uses spreadsheets/Calc, not documents/Writer. My initial glance at loading vibreoffice was in Calc, and at least hjkl just typed the letters into whatever cell had input focus, rather than moving the input focus to another cell. It also doesn't look like it's in the Add-Ons section for Calc like it is in Writer.

If I get some free time I'll see if I can make a patch.

I only eventually have to resort to LibreOffice. When I do, I'm always
happier to have to resort to Writer, since I can use this plugin and get
vim-like keybindings. The truth is, however, than usually it is Calc I find
I have to use: for writing my texts there's vim itself and LaTeX or
Markdown, but spreadsheeting with vim keybindings has so far seemed either
too hard (like porting this plugin) or too unsatisfactory (using sc,
which doesn't have proper undo capabilities). I hope you find time and
motivation to work on the port! Best regards.

Sorry to get your hopes up, this looks more involved than I have time for. Maybe @seanyeh can give us some guidance?

+1 for Calc suport.
I'm in the same situation. Calc and spreadsheeting is the only things I need libreoffice for too. For text processing we already have vim and we wish to remain there (Meaning no disrespect).

I would second this wish. Could someone summarize what (where) one would do. I.e. how would one go about implementing this?

sc-im is certainly an awesome program but it isn't quite as featurefull as libreoffice calc. I would also love to see vibreoffice calc support.
