Hi Up to and including Sandboxie Classic version 5.51.6 (Sandboxie-Classic-x64-v5.51.6.exe) we did not experience any problem with emails on any of our computers (all are Windows 7 x 64Bit using Windows Live Mail). However , since then we have experienced problems with all new emails received after installation of the new version of Sandboxie Classic (including Sandboxie-Classic-x64-v5.53.0.exe). The problem is that all new emails keep coming in (i.e. they keep being duplicated – even if they are deleted, they keep being received/duplicated in the Inbox). Any help would be appreciated. Please provide some more details:

1. is the program installed into the sandbox or outside
2. if outside, where is the accotun configured, in sandbox only or on the reals system, also are paths to the profile open such as to save the emails outside the sandbox.
3. post your sandboxie ini
4. are you using a imap or pop3 mail box?

Hi Thank you for your response – our Sandboxie.ini file (for version 5.51.6 64Bit) is attached – if you want us to install version 5.53.0 64Bit and send you the amended Sandboxie .ini file, please advise. Your extensive work in developing Sandboxie and keeping it up to date is very much appreciated. We use Sandboxie Classic on all our Windows computers and have been using Sandboxie since December 2008 - we use 4 main desktop computers that all have Windows 7 64 Bit and are daily used for email, and we also have other Windows 7 and Windows 10 computers that are not regularly used and are not used for email. Overall, we have found no problems with any of the Sandboxie Classic versions for merely browsing the internet – we mainly use Firefox, but also use Microsoft Edge and (sometimes) Internet Explorer. Windows Live Mail is included in the Forced Folders segment as well as being included in the Email Reader segment of Sandboxie settings. Because of the large size of the email data, on 3 of the computers the Windows Live Mail data is kept of a second drive, but on 1 computer the data is stored on the C drive (because of the small amount of data). Important emails are saved directly to already existing folders on a second drive outside the sandbox, and attachments are initially saved to a Downloads folder in the sandbox before being recovered to a Downloads folder outside the Sandbox on the C drive – they are then moved to the relevant folders on a second drive.
