Thanks for contributing, but I do not see a reason why we should drop support for node 8 when it does not limit library functionality. |

As Node 8 as already reached EOL, it would be better to support newer versions of Node (from 10) where it's possible to use the
fspromises API and also helps not supporting outdated Node versions.
