TOI Labs - Python Configuration

In these labs, we will be using Python 3.12 and Jupyter Notebooks.

1) Install necessary packages

• Some of the packages that you will need in the labs can be installed using:
  • pip3 install matplotlib
  • pip3 install wxPython
  • pip3 install scipy
  • pip3 install numpy
  • pip3 install scikit-learn
  • pip3 install jupyter
  • pip3 install statsmodels
  • pip3 install pandas

2) Open jupyter notebook

• Navigate to the folder containing the jupyter notebook file (.ipynb), in the terminal start jupyter notebook by running:
  • python3 -m notebook
• This will bring up your default web browser
