Design Diagrams

Below we have created three levels of design diagrams. Our diagrams focus on the user interactions with our application, rather than focusing on frameworks and implementation details we will use.

Key

  • Ellipses designate a user or stakeholder
  • Rectangles designate actions a user will take
  • Rectangles with two bars indicates an event or time taking place
  • Parallelograms designate desire outcomes based on our goals
  • Parallelograms with wave designate data stores
  • Solid arrows connect users to actions and their outcomes
  • Double lines indicate data transfer
  • Dotted lines indicate external information sharing between parties
