Following snippet is sufficient to trigger an ICE on both stable 1.32 and nightly 1.34

use std::io::Read;
use std::default::Default;

trait MyRead: Sized {
    fn read<R: Read>(r: &mut R) -> Self;
}

type Foobar = [u8;10];

impl MyRead for Foobar {
    fn read<R: Read>(r: &mut R) -> Self {
        let mut result: Self = Default::default();
        r.read(&mut result[..]).unwrap();
        result
    }
}

fn main() {
}

Minified it a little bit. If one remove the : Self it does not ICE.

use std::io::{empty, Read};

trait Foo {
    fn foo();
}

impl Foo for [u8; 10] {
    fn foo() {
        let mut result: Self = [0; 10];
        empty().read(&mut result).unwrap();
    }
}

The bug also happens on beta (of course).
Nightly-2017-09-01 does not ICE, nightly-2017-10-01 does. But I'm not sure if that's the same error. Let me know if I should bisect that further.
