Grab selected text from page to pass to Instapaper
Add command to contextual menu (Jeroen added initial code for this in commit from this link )

Other potential improvements

Potentially using an extension bar to display status information
Classier toolbar icons
Ability to edit title/selection text before submission to Instapaper
Submit directly to folders (not doable via the current API)

Add a custom sidebar
