This project is dead. Is there a fork that's being maintained?

Not now, but I want to maintain. https://github.com/kamontat/ronn

I'm forking this, too.

My fork is called Ronn-NG: find it at https://github.com/apjanke/ronn-ng.

Install via RubyGems by using the ronn-ng gem instead of ronn. It's a drop-in replacement for original ronn.

gem install ronn-ng

Let's see which of our forks gains traction. Maybe we could merge them at some point.

@apjanke Nice, I see that you have migrated away from hpricot gem dependency and replaced it with nokogiri. What's the state of your fork, is it working?

Thanks @deivid-rodriguez! My fork is working and I have made an 0.7.4 release. (Though the installation process needs a little work.) I welcome everyone to give it a try.

d12frosted added a commit to d12frosted/homebrew-emacs-plus that referenced this issue Nov 19, 2021
Apparently `brew test` tries to build dependencies of `brew bundle`.
And it seems like it depends on ronn, which is [dead][1]. The worst
part is that ronn depends on rdiscount 2.2.0.2, which fails to build.
Didn't dig too much into it, but [seems like][2] it's also not in high
priority. Homebrew issue tracker is silent and I don't feel safe to
report anything there, so with this commit going to do simple thing -
avoid using `brew test`. Since I don't have `brew` right now, I am
just going to see if `brew --prefix` does what I expect. Will turn it
into real test later.
