This is a good idea, but I may do it differently to avoid adding another third party github action. I think I can just install ruff with pip. |

Ruff now integrated into the CI, with most of the stronger checks you suggested. I didn't add the SIM family as for the most part I think they make things less readable, at least for me. Closing this PR as I did it differently, but thanks for causing improvement! |
