- Lluís joins to replace Rachitt, who has not responded to any inquiries for more than two weeks and has not participated in the last two Steering Committee meetings

- merged her work with a PR (#63) opened by Michael Chirico

- combining was fairly seamless, as Saranjeet had more intro material to several sections, where Michael was focusing on more technical details
- Nicolas will email the steering committee when ready for review. Saranjeet will post on Slack - also check if channel with GitHub bot is still working and inform people about it if so.

- will look at chapters that have already been reviewed (testing/documentation)
- docs chapter has started last year, has received comments that are to be incorporated now
- testing similar situation: many comments that have not yet been addressed
- will add DOI

- unclear on licensing terms: CC-BY-NC or CC-BY (settled on CC-BY)
- add citation info at the end
- add cover page (with R logo for now; check licensing issues)
- further Collaboration Campfires feedback (low priority)

- git workflow for testing proposed patches
- novice friendly install instructions (from source)
- Lluís feels comfortable with the above, will be introduced to previous work by Saranjeet
- prioritize install from source (windows is out of date, #29; macOS, #62)
- for Lluís a bit early to say, hopefully some work on installing from source can be completed by then
