support absolute alias + fix extension appending #2

Currently aliasing to absolute paths is broken. Also, when the import path already includes the .js extension, it is still incorrectly appended.

This commit fixes both.

This just landed with 1.2.0.
I was a bit on the fence if it should be a new major (breaking) version number. Since I didn't intend for absolute paths before, I felt being bumping just the minor version indicating a new feature is a better fit.

I don't think this would break anything, minor bump seems appropriate.
