MAD-X is a C, C++, Fortran77, and Fortran90 code that is a leader in the field of particle accelerator design and simulation. It is often considered the standard scripting language to describe particle accelerators, model beamline dynamics, and is used to optimize beam optics at CERN. The source code can be found on the MADX GitHub repository, and its Wiki. This and more information can be found on the official MADX site and user manual.
