Also look at other drivers, there are ready-made drivers for HMD and controllers. If you need a controller driver, I recommend the HadesVR project.

Setup:
Move and replace the "null" folder, from the archive, to the folder "...\Steam\steamapps\common\SteamVR\drivers\null".
Move and replace the file "steamvr.vrsettings", from the archive, in the folder "...\Steam\config".
