I'm not a big fan of these "previously<-> now" sentences, because we probably will not revisit this paragraph in 3.48 or 3.54 docs so it will still show like this and people will be confused as to what version the "previously" refers to. I tend to live that to the "changelogs", and instead list what features we currently have available in the manual.

Moreover the improvements here refer to raster while the previous sentences afaict concern vectors. So not really the same topic...

categories such as Layer Configuration, Temporal, and Elevation can also be
saved and loaded.
