Redacting results are not as expected in 1.24.x. #3376
Comments
This has nothing to do with #3375. |
This 1-page file contains a redaction annotation which will ruin the appearance when applied. |
MuPDF issue reference: https://bugs.ghostscript.com/show_bug.cgi?id=707733 |
The MuPDF team has resolved the problem. |
Wow, @JorjMcKie, Thank you very much for your response and efforts to solve this problem. Waiting for the next release. BTW, I have modified my issue comment to make it less grammar and spelling errors. |
Hi, JorjMcKie. Thank you very much for your efforts resolving this problem. Unfortunately, after I upgrade the pymupdf and rerun the code in #3376 (comment), PDF apperance is still ruined. :( $ git clone https://github.com/pymupdf/PyMuPDF.git && cd PyMuPDF && pip install .
$ pip list | grep PyMuPDF
PyMuPDF 1.24.2
PyMuPDFb 1.24.1
$ cd bug-report && python test.py Is it because that the upstream code has not been released? |
Sorry - my bad: the MuPDF fix has not been included in this version. We will have to wait ... |
Fixed in 1.24.3. |

Pytest-asyncio currently assumes that async fixture scope is correlated with the new event loop scope. This prevents fixtures from being evaluated independently from the event loop scope and breaks some existing test suites (see <a href="https://redirect.github.com/pytest-dev/pytest-asyncio/issues/706">#706</a>). For example, a test suite may require all fixtures and tests to run in the same event loop, but have async fixtures that are set up and torn down for each module. If you're affected by this issue, please continue using the v0.21 release, until it is resolved.</p> </blockquote> </details> <details> <summary>Commits</summary> <ul> <li><a href="https://github.com/pytest-dev/pytest-asyncio/commit/eb63d5ad0ca21041726ada3d5c00211d36418a9b"><code>eb63d5a</code></a> docs: Prepared for release of v0.23.7.</li> <li><a href="https://github.com/pytest-dev/pytest-asyncio/commit/da04a7a645bdd46d0533c727e85cf2c0e13c7def"><code>da04a7a</code></a> Build(deps): Bump exceptiongroup in /dependencies/default</li> <li><a href="https://github.com/pytest-dev/pytest-asyncio/commit/00c667ad80571fc8e937f4422267b135f55ec6e6"><code>00c667a</code></a> Build(deps): Bump pytest from 8.1.1 to 8.2.0 in /dependencies/default</li> <li><a href="https://github.com/pytest-dev/pytest-asyncio/commit/3bd9cd885b5cc78ce4a73a03c878ac93e0a1840f"><code>3bd9cd8</code></a> [docs] Add changelog entry.</li> <li><a href="https://github.com/pytest-dev/pytest-asyncio/commit/15544f0ee29152086b14e63cb040836f33b0b416"><code>15544f0</code></a> Revert GitHub Actions and Tox changes.</li> <li><a href="https://github.com/pytest-dev/pytest-asyncio/commit/6316b285c1ee8f6d300916e531ff1d320bec8d6b"><code>6316b28</code></a> Deduplicate simplefilter snippet.</li> <li><a href="https://github.com/pytest-dev/pytest-asyncio/commit/3ffdfc5607a112a9a2cb933a6af044eaf47e0227"><code>3ffdfc5</code></a> asyncio.run(port_afinalizer())</li> <li><a href="https://github.com/pytest-dev/pytest-asyncio/commit/0107fd7ae7e42d399b5be9af6f3ee4427e16ea7d"><code>0107fd7</code></a> Remove extra space.</li> <li><a href="https://github.com/pytest-dev/pytest-asyncio/commit/3bf700a80cb12354fbe0a9295be9fbd4317c8d8f"><code>3bf700a</code></a> Fix GH Action mapping.</li> <li><a href="https://github.com/pytest-dev/pytest-asyncio/commit/d15dc31f7459810af824b5e9e903f914140ceb2c"><code>d15dc31</code></a> Fix 3109/3108 typo.</li> <li>Additional commits viewable in <a href="https://github.com/pytest-dev/pytest-asyncio/compare/v0.23.6...v0.23.7">compare view</a></li> </ul> </details> <br /> Updates `pytest` from 8.2.0 to 8.2.2 <details> <summary>Release notes</summary> <p><em>Sourced from <a href="https://github.com/pytest-dev/pytest/releases">pytest's releases</a>.</em></p> <blockquote> <h2>8.2.2</h2> <h1>pytest 8.2.2 (2024-06-04)</h1> <h2>Bug Fixes</h2> <ul> <li><a href="https://redirect.github.com/pytest-dev/pytest/issues/12355">#12355</a>: Fix possible catastrophic performance slowdown on a certain parametrization pattern involving many higher-scoped parameters.</li> <li><a href="https://redirect.github.com/pytest-dev/pytest/issues/12367">#12367</a>: Fix a regression in pytest 8.2.0 where unittest class instances (a fresh one is created for each test) were not released promptly on test teardown but only on session teardown.</li> <li><a href="https://redirect.github.com/pytest-dev/pytest/issues/12381">#12381</a>: Fix possible "Directory not empty" crashes arising from concurent cache dir (<code>.pytest_cache</code>) creation.
