Draft shield itself is prone to warping, so with a small surface on the bed it lifts up quickly (which can impede the shield's function by allowing air to flow from below). I've just printed something in ABS using draft shield and it warped like crazy (although I guess it still helped prevent the main part from warping). I thought how brim could help with the draft shield if it had one. Good work, I hope this will be added (merged) in the next main release. |
Actually it's quite easy to build PS according to instructions. |

I'm kinda surprised this PR hasn't been merged into PS yet. I have recently had some 8-hour prints ruined because the draft shield detached from the print bed, and judging by comments in the forums, I'm not the only one. Something that so immediately affects customer satisfaction with your product should surely command higher priority than this seems to be getting |
