Git repo does not have tags for prior versions

This repo only has a tag for 2.6.0. I was looking for prior versions so I could do some diffs. Presumably the source is here, but would you mind adding tags for the older versions?

Sorry but we won't add these tags to github. The old releases we made in svn mostly happened in a release branch while we only ported the main branch to github. As a result there isn't a git commit that matches exactly to these old releases.

Having such history is very helpful, and I'd ask you to rethink it. It's not too hard to bring in the branches from SVN. But I'll let this be unless you change your mind.
