Getting the above error when running the post-install script (also, you may want to update the readme, I can't find the unsafe-perm documentation in the provided link).

I don't know, I ran the script on a Windows 7 x64 SP2 machine after
installing node.js and that error was displayed, I didn't debug it. Let me
know if you'd like me to try to reproduce (I've uninstalled both node.js
and the client and installed the standard client).

I'm trying to figure out what's the actual spawn call that's failing. What happens if you run prey config hooks post_install?

Hi,

The 1.2.x branch of the client address these issues, so now a full installation via npm works just as it would when installing through the official packages:

npm install -g prey

Feel free to reopen an issue if you encounter any other problems.
