Cannot edit the number of strings for a staff

I changed the tuning settings to 7 string in a new empty score, deleted Player 1 (in the score), and tried to enter it again with the Player Change mode:

I think this behavior (the "none") is correct. Ideally, you're supposed to be able to edit the strings in the staff. And then you can add appropriate players to that staff if their strings are consistent. You have a 6 string staff with a 7 string player, so you have no valid options to add to that staff.

The problem is that we can't alter the string count for the staff, and so right now, it seems we're stuck with only 6 string players to match.
