Instrument 2 disappears and instrument (1) has no number #142
Comments
Similar to #143. |
It is not quite the same, since the Players remain in order: But of course, we can set it straight manual, and/or give player and instrument our own name: |
It just depends on how you manipulate the players/instruments. I'm pretty sure if you do the same manipulations to both sides, the end result will be the same. Yeah, I imagine users editing their own names and so this is pretty close to a non-issue, in practical terms. But it is quirky behavior anyway. |
:) |
As with #143, this doesn't matter once you start setting actual names for the players/instruments. For instruments, it tries to use the default instrument name from the Preferences dialog, and then appends a number at the end to make it unique if necessary. |
For consistency's sake, I would like to see the first instrument numbered as well, to match the Player numbers, as pointed out in the OP. |
I tried to add some instruments and deleted some of them to see what happens.
I can make a lot of instruments, delete and add them again.
But...
Instrument 2 disappears:
Also, instrument (1) has no number (compare Player 1).
And the instruments appear in disorder (although no bug, and not even serious, it's just an observation):
