• Python: support fastapi APIs in Viewer Pane #3024
• FastAPI should also get us Vetiver, given it's an extension of FastAPI
• Placeholder for Flask. Note that Dash is a subset of Flask.

Workbench

The primary goal for the 2024.10 release is to produce builds of Positron that can be consumed by Workbench. These two issues track that work:

• Positron does not run on Ubuntu 20, Debian 11, or RedHat 8 (glibc incompatibility) #3854
• Use Posit's vscode-server as Positron upstream (1.93.0 merge) #4273

We also need work done in Positron in order for local HTTP servers to work (help pane, viewer pane, etc.).

• URL reshaping and proxying for Positron localhost URLs on Posit Workbench #4274
