The following error was encountered during sync:-ERROR: Unable to connect to the Google calendar.
Sync aborted after 1 failed attempts!
I uninstalled the program and reinstalled with the same issue. The ver. 2.8.4.0
After trying to Sync you get Error Message "The synchronisation failed - check the Sync tab for further details. Do you want to try again" Yes or No. Any idea what the issue is?

Nothing to do with Internet connection, Google Calendar was working fine in Chrome.

Same issue with Chanel2020.

Also, Outlook calendar is still not syncing to Google calendar even though OGCS shows 0 entries found and sync finished with success!

Exactly the same again today would not sync until 08:00 BST. Google calendar was/is working fine on Windows Chrome and Android device. I was wondering if the Google API quota had been exceeded and resets at this time?

Again this morning, it works again after 08:00 BST.

Perhaps those who have donated to the project can have a priority on number of queries?

My last successful sync was 2020/10/01 and now I'm receiving this same error.

Mine is actually working again after I disconnected and reconnected to the gmail account.

Don't worry about it. I've uninstalled OGCS and use a different free program that works really well if not better.

And what alternate program would that be @Kevode ?

Getting an using a personal Google OAuth API overcomes this problem.
