I wonder if it would be useful to have a wiki for this project. Now that i'm trying to contribute, it would be nice to organize questions, new information etc. in one place. Such things could easily get lost in the Google group. For example, "How do I run the test cases" etc. etc.

Hi Peder, good idea. I guess github wikis could be used? Although how does
it work if someone else wants to contribute to the wiki?

I made a tentative start at a petl developer guide here:
https://github.com/alimanfoo/petl/wiki/Developer-guide

(Re running the tests cases same goes for petlx, use nosetests).

Happy to move this somewhere else if there's an easier way to collaborate.

Cheers,
Alistair

That’s exactly what I meant, just to activate the github wiki for the project. Thanks! :)

I will install nose and give the tests a shot.
