Have looked at css validation.

Found https://github.com/gruntjs/grunt-contrib-csslint, which follows csslint rules and OO-CSS - but I don't really agree with a lot of it, so not going to merge into master. It's on the lint-css branch for anyone interested

There's also w3c css validator, which I've found a ruby gem for. Will check this out.
