This section documents known HRM extensions, which Bipolar may or may not use at some point to include additional information not specifically covered by the base HRM data format.
PPT5 supports a [LapNames]
section. Bipolar already uses this section, based on PPT5's conventions, to distinguish manual and automatic split times.
Not technically an extension, but HRM files can provide either R-R data or all other type of sample data (including heart rate), but not both at the same time.
PPT5 can use two separate HRM files simultaneously, where one provides the general sample data, and the other provides the R-R data. Bipolar currently exports the former type of HRM, but will be updated to export both types (issue #28).
