Transfer all repositories into pCloud organization #197
Comments
This requires further clarification. Which repos, and why? |
Yeah, no idea which repo I'm supposed to transfere. @Neustradamus |
@krokodilerian, @storm1ng: Like I have said, all from https://github.com/pcloudcom?tab=repositories into https://github.com/pCloud Thanks in advance. |
@Neustradamus looking into your history, you go around asking everyone that has contributed to a repo ever to do something like that. And there is no explanation why this cursade, it just generates more and more spam. Please desist. |
I don't know what this is about. I made a PR one for something related to the docs. I have no forks of this repo. No idea what is going on. Will unsub from this. |
@krokodilerian: It is not legal to have the @pcloudcom personal account for the company. To be legal, all repositories must be into the official pCloud organization (like other current @pCloud repositories). I can send an email to explain too. |
@OblackatO: I have added all contributors from pCloud repositories (not legal @pcloudcom personal account and good @pCloud organization). The goal is to solve this bad good situation. |
@Neustradamus Are you seriously opening issues on different projects to have the repos transfered if they are on a personal account with a company existing behind them? Why is this of interest to you? |
@Neustradamus please explain here what makes this illegal. Are you a representative of GitHub? |
There is nothing i can do as a contributor... is there ? |
@Neustradamus I do not have any repos in relation to pcloud. I don’t even use it. Also, I’m not allowed to move any repo. I am not the owner. Please state the ToS and legal documents which enforce your demands, and provide us the contacts of the legal department of your company. |
To be clear, pCloud is advertising a feature that does not work and has not
worked for years now.
pCloud has ignored all attempts from us to address this. I've specifically
reached out to individuals at pCloud, followed up using their contact us
mechanism, and left information in the reviews of their app.
pCloud continued to abandon, ignore AND advertise features that we support.
The good open source folks stepped up to address what pCloud has abandoned
yet continue to make money on.
@pCloud
Given that context and background, would you like to restate your request?
Perhaps communicate to your users what you are attempting to do?
@everyone_else I assume they are trying to implement 2FA and just got
around to looking at their code base. Unfortunately they didn't bother
revising the emails nor bug list.

I am only a simple guy who informs you to have a good place with all repositories instead of two places (one bad and one good) and to be legal: An account is for a human, and an organization is for associations, projects, companies: |
@Neustradamus I checked, and you have no authority or good reason to spam people about this. I'm unsubscribing from this issue. |
@krokodilerian: I only inform contributors because we do not know really who are in the team. |
Can't thumbs-down enough the unappreciated spam. I'm unsubscribing. |
We've recently had this guy sneak his way into the organization of a project I have been contributing for. It started with him demanding software updates, then he linked all contributors and tried to take them over into an "ng" fork which he had just created. After there were zero submissions within 4 years he returned and demanded a new team to be installed, and someone from the team probably thought it would make the least damage to just add him to the team. He then covered his history by deleting all his previous edits, posted hundreds of links to forks created from our project (even detached ones), mentioning all forker names and creating the ultimate spamfest. He then started chaos, proposing obsessive nonsense. When met with opposition, people got flagged and hidden by him, when asked why the repetitive spam he suggests to unsubscribe. It was an absolutely weird show which ended up with him getting expelled from the team. Now he's still sending e-mails and waiting to be reinstated as project admin. Too bad he deleted much of his history, but here's the remainders: phpvirtualbox/phpvirtualbox#315 I have no idea what drives him, my guess is that he's on the spectrum, but what he's doing right here at pCloud is exactly what he has been trying in about 50 other repositories this month alone. He somewhat got sole organizational access to the "ppp" project, he sneaked his way into the radvd project, he claims to have written an "official security announcement for the XAMPP project" ( https://x.com/neustradamus/status/1877703663864467640 ) which is also just a list of old links, he is insisting that a repo owner must send emails to Source Forge because he had "contacted the SF CEO" for him ( HydraDragonAntivirus/HydraDragonAntivirus#5 ). He even wrote that he needed years of fighting to get access to a repo of someone who deceased. I'm sure I could continue for an hour, listing questionable activities, if I continued going through his history. My five cents: Do all yourselves a favor and close this issue. All the best! |
@chotaire: Thanks for your message, you are a real stalker ;) |
Attention, to be clear with all, at beginning, I have contacted/cited @chotaire for the phpVirtualBox project, because the development was stopped a long time ago (6 years and I try to realive), and he has done a fork like some other people: I have launched talk with all people/contributors, it is important to talk with community but now he talks outside. Here, it is a ticket because pCloud has not a legal account, and it is to move all repositories into the good pCloud existing organization. About history, all comments are online ;) If you dislike that I manage projects, please do same, contribute instead of disturb people. Yes I have several contacts, I solve several legality problems on GitHub, etc. In more, I propose you to take a look about Salted Challenge Response Authentication Mechanism (SCRAM), security is important: Do not hesitate to promote my announcement about XAMPP, I have officially alerted, there are millions unsecure servers, security is important! |
After you have been met with nothing other than opposition in this issue as well, has it ever come to your mind that you have zero authority, never been given the task nor been asked to solve "legality problems" for other people? What you are creating is an epic cluster of insistance that serves nothing but your autistic personal interest in demanding order. Leave people alone and stop trying to be of importance.
Your comments are not online, you are editing them and deleting the previous revisions to make yourself look best depending on current development. You even did it again just now.
You are the one who feels the urgent need to disturb people relentlessly in huge numbers. And you won't ever stop doing so, never before you've said "ok no problem, I just thought I'd mention it". You will not give up even if met with nothing other than opposition. You do not even understand when you get removed from an organization but continue acting as if you were still in charge. Two years ago, you've already started this same nonsense over at pcloud, now you do it here, will you stop? #190
What a chaos, I can't even follow your thoughts. What is the relevance here? And where's your "official" security advisory for Windows XP? How many times in your life have people told you to stop the @mentioning spam, there is no sane reason to do it, there is no building currently on fire, the relevance of your issue is of low priority, so stop mistreating Github as a spam mailinglist for your daily dose of "I need to be of importance for a software project right now and you all need to act asap and i need to talk to a manager". |
